Ah, the search for food. We tend to be too busy to create our own meals. We always seem to run out of time and end up eating way too late. Its not good for us. So, we're actually pretty casual about spending an extra buck for some piece of mind that a meal will be waiting for us when we get home.

We were walking around our neighborhood one day and found
Dream Dinners a few blocks from our house and decided to try it out. Turns out you can do pretty much everything you need to do online; set up a class, pick your menu and pay. Classes are small and the environment was clean and neat (my favorite). Staff was nice but overly explanatory in their directions. "This is a Ziploc, this is how you open them..." kind of talk, but we muddled through. They chop everything that needs to be chopped and everything else is set out. Measuring ingredients, blending them and packaging them is up to you.

lumpyhead and I had a great time reconnecting for a bit since we rarely get to see each during the week. We created Cider Braised Porkchops, Beef Skewers with Peanut dipping sauce, Honey and Herb Chicken, Peppered Salmon and a couple others that I forgot. We cooked up the pork chops the first night and they were amazing. The menu changes next month and I'm excited to check it out.
